「偏りのない発信・発言を心掛ける」
これはwebサイトでコンテンツを作る中で、優先順位の一番くらい大切にしていることです。つまり言い切り過ぎない、断言しない、押し付けない、ということ。
そしてそれは同時に、情報を目にする人（読者）の「選択の自由の枠を広げる」、ということになるのではないかと信じているからです。
ライターとして様々なお店や経営者の方を取材させてもらい、専門家や啓蒙活動をされている方にも出会いました。皆さん、それぞれに勉強され、努力され、使命のごとく「そのこと」を世に広めるために活動されている方々です。
社会的に今まで何かをそこまで極めたことのない私にとって、その姿勢は素晴らしく尊敬に値します。
ですが同時に、その1つの方法に特化してしまうと、それ以外を排除してしまう傾向があることも感じていました。
「このやり方が正しい」は同時に、「他のやり方は間違っている」という対極を生むからです。
そういう話を聞いた後にはいつも、私はもやっとしたものを感じていました。きっとひとつのことを頑なまでに妄信する人が放つ、特有の圧力が苦手だったのでしょう。
もちろん、何かの専門分野を極めた人でも「これじゃないといけない、というわけじゃない。選択肢のひとつと思ってもらえれば」という、客観的な視線を持ち合わせた方もたくさんいらっしゃいます。
そういう方との取材の後は、何かためになることを学んだ後のような、清々しい気分になります。
選択肢というのは、あくまで自由意志で選べる可能性であって、押し付けるものではない。取材を重ねるごとに、そんな考えが私の中で芽生え育つのが抑えられないのでした。
ただ知らないことには、その可能性にさえ気付けない。
だから私は、「自分らしさを取り戻し、輝く人生を送るため」のアイデアを、様々な切り口で発信したいと思い始めたのです。
それぞれの魅力や期待できる効果などを提示しつつも、「するもしないも、まぁ、あなた次第だけれどね！」と、最後には読んでくださる方に軽やかにパスを出すような、そんな記事やコンテンツにしたいな、と。
というのもさらに言うと、「自分で選ぶ」という単純だけれどこれ以上にない大切なことを、あまり重要視していない人が少なからずいることに、驚かされることがあったのです。
「で、結局どれが一番良いのでしょうか。言ってもらったらそれを選びますので教えてください」
そういう姿勢を目の当たりにしたときは衝撃でしたね。苦笑。自分で選ぶということを完全に放棄しているのですから。その人の名誉のために言っておくと、とても素直でいい子なんですよ、本当に！もったいないな、というのが正直な感想でした。
自分で選ぶって、選べる自由があるって、実はとても豊かで尊い行為。
そしてそれができるからこそ、その人なりの輝きを取り戻していけるように思うのですよ。
私だってライターといういち発信者でしかありませんし、日々模索して選択を繰り返す日々です。
でも自分にとってのベストを選び続けるために、その可能性を探求することを楽しみ、「My Shining Life」（自分の輝いた人生）を模索する全ての方にシェアしていきたい。
この場所が、そういう存在になれることを願っています。
